Two of the most important components of the New Pentax K7 DSLR is the incredible weather-proofing, and it's capacity for HD Video Capture. I have probably not mentioned much about either feature in earlier articles as I'm not actually that much of a video photographer and I certainly don't do expeditions to the Arctic or something like that, but maybe I neglected them as a result of I never use those functions. How inconsiderate of me, I apologise! Sorry I am so ordinary.
Anyway. Right here is my take.

Pentax K7The Pentax K7 just like the K20D, provides what can only be described as exceptional weather-proofing, unlike the D90 which doesn't have any and the Canon 50D which has weather proofing which is ineffective.

With the K7, even your low price range kit lenses such as the 18-55 standard range and 50-200 tele lens will definitely be properly weather-sealed with Pentax's superior climate proofing system, this means you could even use it in close to arctic situations, as it could operate down at 14 degrees fahrenheit (-10C), compared to just 32F/0C with other supposedly "climate-sealed" cameras on the market.
Even cameras like Canon’s 1Ds and Nikon’s D3 are nowhere close to the K7 when it comes to this degree of functionality. This means in fact that it is an excellent DSLR within the extra excessive travel conditions, where even probably the most rugged "pro" cameras can typically experience excessive failure rates.
Not so with the Pentax K7. It is up for nearly anything. Click here for more info on

Not only that, however as I already mentioned earlier, it's going to also do an incredible job of video for you in these conditions too, which is a really awesome feature. The K7 beats out just about every single one of the competitors in the midrange market segment of the DSLR market, though the others as is the norm will try to play catch up, as all of the copy cats get in on the Pentax's action.
Pentax seems to be doing video better than everybody else and that is past argument. The K7 helps your customary 1280×720p, 30fps HD, and has a jack for an external microphone which you won't get with any of the bottom-end video-capable DSLRs.
By the way this means you can have high-quality sound in stereo should you want. Brilliantly, the K7 makes use of the full space of the sensor and affords a 1536×1024, giving 3:2 ratio mode , instead of losing a sixth of your frame size like every other digital does when shooting a 16:9 video.
Full credit to the Pentax K7 designers for thinking ahead of the curve.
Another nice characteristic in video capture is the K7’s sensor-primarily based picture stabilization system, which makes the Pentax K7 DSLR a camera that gives you awesome results. This can always help guys like me who possibly have shaking hands that come as standard. I've to say since starting to use the Pentax K7 DSLR, Click here for more info on
Pentax K7 I've actually observed a big difference. You'll discover it in the reduction of the number of snaps you'll be deleting after a session. That is the place it really matters.
